7 arrested, 4 wanted for printing, passing out fake drug prescriptions

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW)- Seven people were arrested, and four people are wanted after a joint investigation by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office, DHEC and Aiken Public Safety.

The suspects were arrested for allegedly printing and passing out fake drug prescriptions for Oxycodone and Hydromorphine, the Sheriff's Office said.

The Sheriff's Office said investigators seized several computers, prescription paper and illegal prescriptions during the raid.

Amber Marissa Lowe, Bittney Diane Barrett, Michael James Mitchell, Debra Estee Boatwright, Brittney Lynn Vines, Jonathan David Bridges and Charlie Gene Wenner are charged with obtaining prescription drugs by fraud.

Lesley Alan Murphy, William David Paul Beasley, Christina Ann Lewis and Jessica Brooke Grey (Bell) are wanted on the same charge.
