Update: Warrenville man found on road died of natural causes
54-year-old Phillip Pennington of Warrenville was found by a passerby near the intersection of Howlandville Road and Highway 421.

WARRENVILLE, S.C.---A body was found on Highway 421 in Warrenville at approximately 7:00 a.m.
According to the Aiken County Coroner's office, 54-year-old Phillip Pennington of Warrenville was found by a passerby near the intersection of Howlandville Road and Highway 421.
The coroner tells us that Pennington died of natural causes. The autopsy showed he had an enlarged heart and atherosclerosis. Toxicology results are pending.
Video from the IGA in Warrenville shows Mr. Pennington alive at 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
