The Williston Police Department say armed robbery suspect Tommy Watkins has been arrested. He is now being held in the Richmond County Jail.

WILLISTON, S.C.---The Williston Police Department is looking for an armed robbery suspect.

44-year-old Tommy Watkins, Jr. is accused of robbing an 86-year-old woman on November 3 in the town of Williston.

Officers said Watkins' last known address is 1841 Williston Road in North Augusta, but they said he is known to visit Aiken, Augusta, North Augusta, New Ellenton and Beech Island.

The police department said he has an extensive criminal record and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information of the whereabouts of Watkins should call their local law enforcement.
