AUGUSTA, Ga.---It was good times for a good cause at the third annual Rock Fore! Dough concert.

The concert benefits the First Tee of Augusta, an organization aimed at bringing kids of all backgrounds to the game of golf and teaching positive lessons about life.

There were about 5,000 people at tonight's concert. Organizers say the benefit was a success regardless of how much money is raised in the end.

Rock Fore! Dough is fast becoming a tradition as part of the Master's celebration. This year, Cheap Trick and Dashboard Confessional were the headliners, and there was a huge turnout.

Event organizer and spokesperson Jill Brown says that each year the event gets better and better, and this year is no exception.

"The good thing is we know our community is willing to support an event that supports youth development, and we are very excited about that," she said.

Heineken USA is one of the major sponsors for the event. Eric Kiser says that they are proud to be involved in such a worthwhile event.

"It's a beautiful night, it's music, it's for a good cause, and I know a lot of people have worked hard to make this happen," he said. "Augusta should be proud. They should be very, very proud."

As the band rocked the crowd, there was plenty of food and fun....but the main reason for the event is the children, who didn't mind speaking up about how First Tee of Augusta has affected their lives. Robert Washington even sang the national anthem at the event.

"This is my second year doing it, so I'm very excited," he said.

"How to hit and our proper stances," said a boy named James of what he's learned at First Tee.

"It's fun," said a girl named Breanna.

So was it a good time? Joshua Owen has the answer: "Yes!"

The First Tee of Augusta is one of over 200 chapters in the First Tee network.

In addition to corporate sponsors, the First Tee has what's called "oversight partners", which include the Augusta National Golf Club, the Ladies PGA, PGA of America and the United States Golf Association.
