AUGUSTA, Ga.---One man is in jail, accused of robbing the Wachovia in the 1700 block of Gordon Highway this morning. That's near the old Regency Mall.

Richmond County investigators and the FBI say at around 9:15 a.m., Michael Crane, an employee of CBS organizers who was staying at the Holiday Inn, passed a note to tellers demanding cash. FBI Inv. Ed Reinhold says Crane claimed he had a weapon, but no employees saw one.

Crane escaped the bank but was later arrested at the Holiday Inn.

CBS organizers tell News 12 Crane was hired to work Masters events, and was not a permanent CBS employee.
