Greenbrier high school student dies
News 12 has learned a Greenbrier High School senior died Monday night.

COLUMBIA CTY, Ga.---News 12 has learned a Greenbrier High School senior died Monday night.
The coroner tells us 17-year-old Scott Gillen was found on the school's track around 10pm Monday and was taken to the hospital.
The Boy Scouts tell News 12 Gillen was training for a personal fitness badge.
An autopsy will be done at the GBI lab to determine the cause of death. No foul play is expected in this incident.
Gillen is the second Greenbrier senior to die this year. Earlier this summer 17-year-old Chris Smith drowned in Lake Thurmond.
