AUGUSTA, Ga.---Police are still looking for a gunman considered armed and dangerous.
19-year-old Emmanuel Demmons is wanted for shooting a teenager three times this afternoon. It happened on Grace Street right near the Boys and Girls Club.
Investigators say Demmons shot 19-year-old Dominuque Ellis this afternoon after a three-day fight escalated. Demmons was also charged with a 2005 shooting at an Augusta nightclub, but those charges were dropped.
He's now wanted for shooting a man Sunday after a fight that also started at a nightclub. This one ended in broad daylight for everyone to see.
"I was traveling down Broad Street and saw three guys standing like they was talking, then I seen one start running and the other one shooting behind him," said witness Yvette Smith.
19-year-old Dominuque Ellis was found lying beside the Harrisburg apartment playground. He'd been shot three times.
"He was shot before he fell on the ground," said Sgt. Robbie Silas of the Richmond County Sheriff's Office. "We know there was one shot possibly fired after he hit the ground with the subject standing over top of him."
Investigators say the shooting stemmed from a fight the two teens had on Friday. Two days later, they had another argument on Broad Street, involving a foot chase and six rounds fired.
Three of those struck Ellis.
Ellis is listed in good condition tonight at MCG.
Now Richmond County is urging anyone with any information on Demmons' whereabouts to call the sheriff's office immediately.
He does not have a permanent address but is believed to stay both at the Sunset Villas and off of Lucky Street.
Demmons faces multiple charges including aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
