GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW) -- Six people were arrested Saturday in Grovetown after allegedly jumping onto a Savannah-bound train in Atlanta.
William Robert Jackson, Jayson Arthur Willard, Dennis James Kist, Megan Rose Tuck, Jo Ann Heilberg and Heather Bermudez are charged with hiding on a train for the purpose of stealing a ride.
The group had dogs with them, which were turned over to Columbia County Animal Control. The dogs will be held there until the owners are released from jail.
All of the suspects are being held on bond set at $1,100 per person.
