Oglethorpe man indicted for stalking Lincoln County cheerleader

LINCOLNTON, Ga.---A southwest Georgia man has been indicted by the Lincoln County grand jury for stalking a high school cheerleader.

Michael Smith of Oglethorpe has been indicted on 2 counts of stalking and 2 counts of criminal attempt to commit stalking.

The Lincoln County sheriff told News 12 back in April of last year that Smith was in Lincolnton asking questions about an underage girl. Click here for that story.
