Man dies after naked rampage

Investigators are waiting on autopsy results for a Statesboro man accused of terrorizing a south Augusta neighborhood naked.

Witnesses say it all started when they heard noises coming from a nearby ditch, where they say they saw 28-year-old Chris Johnson crawling around and growling.

Neighbors say he stripped down and attacked Jack Flynn at his business.

"Never seen him, didn't really know what was going on," said Flynn. "He just completely came out of nowhere. And I happened to see him go into the gorilla stance. He was like 'Raahh'."

Neighbors then watched as the man ran to nearby Stevens Road, where he hit someone else with a toolbox and then smashed a windshield with his head.

Johnson was naked throughout the entire incident.

He died in police custody. Autopsy results should be coming soon.

FBI rescues kidnapped boy

A boy whose mother took him to South Korea is back home thanks to local FBI agents. He's been missing for two years.

Investigators say Aydin Sungmin Kantner's mother Rheina kidnapped him in September of 2004, when he was one year old.

She told her husband she was leaving on a 90-day vacation, then later told him she wasn't coming home.

Last month, Kantner was arrested while trying to get back in the states, but little Aydin, who is now 3, was nowhere to be found.

Last week agents from Augusta and Korea and the boy's father, Scott Kantner, traveled to South Korea, where they found Aydin and brought him home this past Saturday.

Rheina Kantner is charged with international kidnapping.

His mother tells us he was taking several medications but had recently stopped taking them.

Authorities have called off their search but are still following up on leads.

If you've seen Jack Cooper, call the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.
