AIKEN CTY, S.C. --- This week, about 20 school kids were spending the week at a camp learning the ins and outs of the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.
The kids were able to see demonstrations from the SWAT team, bloodhounds, traffic court and tour the special operations vehicle.
"He showed us all the equipment that was inside," says camper Teke Roberts.
I asked Teke, "Did you get to see some big guns in there too?"
Teke, "Uh huh!"
"We do it for the kids so they learn we're not the bad guys out on the street and exactly what we do here," says SSgt. Earl Roberts. "That we don't just ride around in cars and harass people."
On Friday, we caught up with the campers as they got a demonstration from the COBRA team. That stands for Chemical Ordinance Biological Radiological Response Team. That is the team that responded to the Graniteville Train Wreck from 2005.
