North Augusta grandmother killed when SUV rear-ended

AIKEN CTY, S.C.---A two-vehicle crash at Highway 421 and Old Aiken Road around 11:15 a.m. has left a woman dead and three other people hurt.
Aiken County coroner Tim Carlton has identified the victim as Daisy Mae Ingram, 75, of North Augusta. Carlton says she was an unrestrained front seat passenger in the GMC Jimmy.
Officers say both vehicles were eastbound on 421 when a car driver
hit the rear of the SUV that was slowing to make a left turn.
Both drivers and anotherr passenger were taken to MCG hospital for treatment.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
