$500 worth of drugs off the streets in Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- More than $500 worth of drugs are off the streets after a search warrant conducted by the Washington County Sheriff's Office and the Ocmulgee Drug Task Force.

An apartment in the Washington Manor Apartments in Sandersville housed approximately a fourth of an ounce of cocaine, about three ounces of marijuana, a set of scales, and $425 in cash, the Sheriff's Office said.

Darrus Lee, 25, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of controlled substance or marijuana near housing project.
