At the Ronald McDonald House in Augusta, families who have been through a lot got a reason to smile today.
Rainbow Play Systems donated a playground worth nearly $5000 to the house.
News 12's Laurie Ott was out at Ronald McDonald House Charities on Greene Street today to help celebrate the new addition.
The playset is for children and families who stay at the Ronald McDonald House while they get treatment at MCG's Children's Medical Center.
Most have nowhere else to go.
"Let's face it: if we can put a smile on a child's face, we've done our job," said Rainbow Play Systems manager Glen Gorham.
Rainbow decided to donate the set after the United Way approached them with grant money.
The folks at the Ronald McDonald House say it means families will actually get to use the backyard again.
