Drug arrest in Columbia County

After a ten month investigation, Columbia County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 25-year old Derrick Boyd of Shady Grove Drive in Harlem. He is charged with possession of cocaine and possession of several other controlled substances. Boyd is also charged with possession of a firearm/knife during a crime/attempted crime. They picked up several guns, vehicles and over $5,000 in cash while executing the search warrant.
The investigation was conducted by Columbia County Sherriff’s Office, the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Georgia Bureau of Investigations.
