Due to a main waterline break on Gray Mare Hollow Road, all residents on Gray Mare Hollow Road from St. Marks Church to Silver Bluff Road and those living on Storm Branch Road within the TRC Water District area should vigorously boil all water used for cooking and drinking for at least three minutes until further notice. It is anticipated it will take at least until Wednesday, June 17 to repair.
In addition, any ice made from water which has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes. This advisory will affect from 30 to 40 families.
Talatha Rural Community Water District is presently working to complete repairs.
Customers will be notified when the testing is complete and there is no longer the need to boil the water.
