Job fairs scheduled for Savannah River site

More job fairs are being hosted by the Department of Energy’s Savannah River Operations Office and Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC on the Recovery Act projects.
The meetings are to provide information about progress at the Savannah River site and also on upcoming employment opportunities. They are open to everyone – job seekers, current employees, and members of the public.
The first job fair is underway right now in Barnwell at the Barnwell Primary School, located at 734 Hagood Avenue. The job fair will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
The next job fair will be held at the University of South Carolina – Salkehatchie West Campus Conference Center on June 24, 2009. The Center is located at 213 Academy Street in Allendale, SC. The Town Hall will begin at noon; the job fair will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
There is also a job fair scheduled for July 7th at Aiken Technical College and July 20th in Augusta at a location TBD.
