Black Friday brings excitement and thrill to holiday shoppers.

It's the official start of the holiday shopping season, and News 12's Domonique Benn was in the middle of it all.

A steady flow of cars rolled into the Target shopping center in Evans.

To Sheree Williams, the day-after-Thanksgiving sale is about saving.

"I have procrastinated a lot this year, so I have not gotten my Christmas shopping taken care of like I said I would," she said.

Many shoppers who waited like Sheree hoped to cash in on Black Friday's deep discounts.

When Target opened Friday morning, store managers say the line went all the way down to Kohl's.

"Very much a mad dash," said manager Anthony Childress. "We keep it down to two doors they can come into."

Toys and electronics is where we found most people.

"It's getting more crowded and actually hard to move around," said shopper Gwen Evans.

And with a crowded store with only limited items, tempers can flare.

"People pushing buggies into buggies and reaching over without asking," Sheree said.
