Arrest made in Hot Spot robbery
The Aiken County Sheriff's Office has arrested on person in connection to the June 1 robbery at the Hot Spot.

Tyeshia Newton of New Ellenton was arrested for her part in the June 1, 2009 robbery at the Hot Spot in New Ellenton.
Newton was the clerk at the story when it was robbed by a man with a black hand gun. The man is described as a black male, 20-30 years old, about 6' to 6'2", weighing 170 pounds. The identity of the male suspect is still under investigation.
