Longtime Columbia County coroner Tommy King has died.
Tommy King was Columbia County's longest-serving elected official. He took office on January 1, 1973 and served almost 34 years.
The morgue which was opened four years ago bears his name.
Mr. King had been ill for some time. He passed away at his home.
He was 69.
