Big changes are on the way for downtown Augusta.
The deal has gone through to build a major new condo project along the river near the 5th Street bridge.
A Savannah-based company will sign the papers tomorrow to buy the land for over $6 million from a city pension fund.
The plan is to build over 180 condos in the 500 block of Reynolds Street.
It will be known as Watermark, and could mean up to $6 million in tax revenue for the city.
