AIKEN CTY, SC--An early morning accident leaves one man dead in northeast Aiken County, near Monetta.
A truck driver hit Sylvester Morris, 52, of Batesburg, who was lying in the road on U.S. 1.
Morris had just been involved in an accident on his moped. Troopers say he collided with a large pickup truck while that driver was turning onto Highway 1.
The other drivers were not injured.
South Carolina troopers are still working on the investigation.
