Aiken Tech evacuated after false bomb threat
Aiken Tech returns to normal after a morning bomb threat.

AIKEN, S.C.---Aiken Technical College received a call at approximately 11:30 a.m. today claiming a bomb had been planted in the 1300 building of the campus. The College's public safety office notified the proper authority immediately and all afternoon classes were canceled. Students and all non-essential employees were evacuated.
The Aiken Bomb Disposal Unit cleared all buildings by 3:30 p.m. It was determined there was never a threat
The campus is open for evening classes.
