BEECH ISLAND, S.C. (WRDW) -- The Aiken County Coroner's Office says one of the teens involved in a rollover accident earlier this week has died.

Coroner Tim Carlton says 15-year old Kumar G. Falconer was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Georgia Regents Medical Center. Carlton says he was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle during the accident.

Investigators say Falconer's brother was driving the 1999 Jeep SUV when the accident happened around 7:40 a.m. Tuesday on Dragstrip Road.

Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the brothers and two more passengers were heading to Silver Bluff High School when the vehicle drifted off the right side of the road, hit an embankment, and rolled multiple times.

The remaining teens all suffered serious, but not life threatening injuries. Carlton says the teen who died was the only person not wearing a seatbelt.
