Final SPLOST plan approved
The Augusta commission has approved the final SPLOST list. It totals $184,724,000.

AUGUSTA, Ga.---The Augusta commission has approved the final SPLOST list. It totals $184,724,000.

The list includes a lake park behind Regency Mall and a new theater district downtown. The move will help revive the historic Miller theater.

There's one catch. All outside agencies have to match their funds by 25 percent. $500,000 will go toward a Garden City Beautification initiative.

Remember taxpayers vote June 16, 2009.
