The judge has changed the sentence for the MCG researcher convicted of killing a teenager in a wreck.
Dr. Muhammad Ali Behzadian will serve his sentence consecutively, meaning he now has two years of probation and a $2000 fine instead of one year and $1000.
He was convicted of causing the accident that killed Brandon Layton in 2003.
The judge says the announcement that the sentence would be served concurrently was a typo.
