Josey students sent home due to power outage

AUGUSTA, Ga.---Georgia Power crews have finished repairs to faulty transformers that led to classes being called off Tuesday at T.W. Josey High School in Augusta. Maintenance crews have approved school as normal for Wednesday..
Due to the power outage, classes were released Tuesday morning and most students sent home on buses.
The electrical problems also affected phone service to the school, but
that should be back to normal Wednesday.
