I am a bookworm. I always have been, and I always will be. Like other bookworms out there, my library card has certainly come in handy, but sometimes, I just don't want to take the books back. Maybe I want to read the book again later. Maybe I'm too busy to make it by the library drop-box. Maybe I want to pass it on to a friend.

Well, I've found a way to get books for free, and you can keep them as long as you like.

It's all thanks to an Internet site called "Paperback Swap." All you do is send the site a book, and you get to pick one out in return. The selection is huge; you have 2.8 million titles to choose from, and those books don't have to be "paperback" like the name suggests. You can get hard covers, textbooks, and audio-books too.

Another book-trading site is called "Book Mooch." It's a little different from "Paperback Swap," but the idea is the same. Type in the books you want to trade, receive requests from others for your books, mail your books to get points, and finally, pick out any books you want based on those points.

So, the next time you sign up for a class and need a textbook or you just want to read for fun, give it a shot. You can't beat the price.
