Car overturned in accident; driver missing

North Augusta Public Safety officers are still trying to locate the driver whose car was found upside down after an accident.

The car has plates that don't match the vehicle and an expired registration out of Virginia.

She stopped for something to eat, but wound up a robbery victim instead.

It happened around 9 o'clock Monday night on Gordon Highway.

Janice says with her family in the car, she wasn't worried about the money.

"I'm really shaken up," she told News 12. "I'm trying to get some sleep, and I can't really sleep cause I still see the gun in my face like that."

The sheriff's office says one of the teenagers covered his face with a black t-shirt.

Officers say the suspects are between 16 and 17 and they could be charged with armed robbery, commission of a crime with a firearm, and underage possession of a weapon.
