AIKEN, S.C.---4 people are under arrest in Aiken after a drug bust at Northwest Morgan Street and Hampton Ave.

A deputy stopped for two vehicles that were blocking the road.

Officers found $77,000 in cash; 17 pounds of marijuana and 6 ounces of cocaine worth over $20,000; and a gun.

Following is a news release from the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.


A late night traffic stop leads deputies and investigators to drugs, guns and money. While conducting a traffic stop on two suspicious vehicles at Morgan St and Hampton Ave in Aiken, deputies and investigators located one firearm and approximately, 17 pounds of marijuana, 7 ounces of cocaine and seventy seven thousand dollars in cash. Both vehicles involved have been seized by the Sheriff's Office.

Eric Lavell Frazer 25, 721 Vincent Avenue, Aiken will be charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Assault and Battery on a Police Office.

Johnny Lamont Frazier 30, 721 Vincent Avenue, Aiken will be charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Bennie Wright 32, 925 Dillon Avenue, Aiken will be charged with Trafficking Marijuana, Trafficking Cocaine, Unlawful Carrying of a Pistol, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime.

Shayla Holmes 32, 207 Jackson Road, Jackson will be charged with Trafficking Marijuana, Trafficking Cocaine, Unlawful Carrying of a Pistol, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime.

All four suspects are currently being held at the Aiken County Detention Center.
