The trial for former Medical College of Georgia teacher Mohammad Ali Behzadian starts today.
The 60-year-old teacher is charged with vehicular homicide, reckless driving, and driving under the influence in the 2003 death of Brandon Layton.
Layton was 18 years old when his car was struck by Dr. Behzadian's on River Watch Parkway.
Judge Carlisle Overstreet will preside.
