Convicted murderer Stephen Stanko is sentenced to die.
Last week a jury convicted Stanko of killing his girlfriend and raping a girl in the home.
Today, that jury gave him the death penalty.
Stanko was captured in Augusta after the crimes.
He was staying with a local woman who befriended him.
That woman, Dana Putnam, testified in the sentencing phase of the trial.
