AUGUSTA, Ga.-- It's a Thanksgiving must at TBONZ as they open their doors to feed more than 300 kids from the Foster Care Association of Georgia and South Carolina. And it's become a tradition, TBONZ has been doing this for 18 years.

"My kids were raised doing this.So my kids have been coming here every year. This is their Thanksgiving helping others," Henry Scheer said.

Helping others and bringing lots of smiles. TBONZ says a lot of the kids are separated from their brothers and sisters and one of the few times they get to see each other is at this dinner.

"You'll see brothers and sisters running up to each other. So that right there is worth every penny it is right there," Scheer said.

And you can't forget about the food, you have your traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner plus some comfort food like hot dogs and french fries.

"It tastes delicious," D'vante King said.

And with this economy, every bit helps. And it all means so much to these families.

"They treat you like your special and the children love it, and the food is good and also free, so that's a good thing," Judy Mitchell said.

TBONZ says it's all about giving back and helping the community.

"I'm very thankful. I'm thankful that I woke up this morning and God shined upon me and my kids. And just knowing that they were going out to have something special today, so it was great," Sylvia Thorpe said.
