COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga.---The Columbia County Humane Society held a microchip clinic in Blanchard Park on Saturday.
More than 90 people came out to get their pets microchipped for only $5, which is a steal since the cost at the vet ranges between $35-$75.
The animals were injected with a microchip which is about the size of a grain of rice. This way if your dog or cat gets lost and you don't have a collar on it, animal control or a vet can scan you animal and read it's identification.
