VIDEO: Former Georgia first lady's artwork on display
A former first lady of Georgia has her artwork on display in the capitol city.
Artwork by Betty Foy Sanders is on display starting today at the Bank of America Plaza in Atlanta.
Mrs. Foy's husband is former governor Carl Sanders of Augusta. A part of Interstate 20 is named for him.
Betty Foy Sanders' artwork includes everything from Native American portraits to landscapes.
The Art Department at Georgia Southern University bears her name.
The retrospective of her work opens at Trinity Gallery today and runs through September 29.
There's an opening reception with the artist tonight from 5 to 8 o'clock.
