BEECH ISLAND, S.C.---Aiken County authorities are looking for two armed gunmen who they say robbed "The Kool Spot" Broadwater Convenience Store along Highway 278, near Silver Bluff Road and Greenpond Road.

Deputies say one of the men shot a round from his pistol, then fled on foot down a trail. Bloodhounds were brought out to try and catch the suspect, but they were not successful.

Authorities say the two men eventually met up and got away in a vehicle.

AIKEN, S.C. -- The Aiken County Sheriff's Office needs your help finding a pair of armed robbers.

They say two teenagers held up the Broadwater Convenience Store at 1801 Green Pond Road in Aiken around 10 Thursday night.

Investigators say one suspect had a sawed-off shotgun, the other was armed with a revolver. Deputies say the pair ran into the store and demanded money. They also grabbed several packs of cigarettes. As they were leaving, the suspect with the shotgun fired a shot into the ceiling.
