A North Augusta man's second attempt at trying to escape jail failed.
Reports say 26-year-old Tommy Joe Griffey, Jr. broke a window and a toilet away from a wall inside his jail cell in Richmond County.
Back in May, Griffey did escape jail. He was found an hour later hiding in bushes not far from the jail.
Griffey was originally jailed in April after being charged in a string of hotel robberies.
He now faces additional charges.
