AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Richmond County Investigators tell News 12 they have arrested an employee for stealing money from a safe at the James Brown Arena.

24 year old B.J. White is charged with felony theft by taking. He is being held at the Richmond County Jail Friday evening.

Last Friday deputies say an Ovation employee found a deposit bag ripped open with $4,000 missing.

Ovation is a food service provider for the arena.
