June 21, Aiken County sheriff Michael Hunt announced a new program to get your help in reporting crime.
He calls it "Dime Out a Drug Dealer".
Sheriff Hunt unveiled a billboard near the intersection of Jefferson Davis Highway and Highway 118 in Aiken.
It shows you a toll-free number to call and give information without leaving your name.
And the sheriff wants to send a clear message.
"The message we want to send is by participating in the Crime Stoppers of the Midlands, it is a good way for people to report information that may help us solve the crime, including drug crimes, and the message we want to send folks who are dealing drugs in Aiken County is, we're coming," Sheriff Hunt said.
The reward for calling Crime Stoppers ranges from $50 to $1000.
Crime Stoppers has been around since 1982.
