State of Georgia sues US Army Corps of Engineers
The US Army Corps of Engineers is being sued by the state of Georgia.
The state is accusing the Corps of draining too much water from Lake Lanier and other lakes on the Chattahoochee River.
The action comes after the corps said a faulty gauge at Lake Lanier allowed billions of gallons of water to be released by mistake.
