AUGUSTA, Ga.---Filled up your car or truck lately? Then you've probably noticed the price at the pump isn't so depressing anymore.

Prices in the Augusta-North Augusta area are in the $3 to $3.25 range for regular. That's now much lower than the Georgia and national average, according to the latest AAA figures.

it's said when you get excited about $3.00 gas, it's still to high and when is it going to trickle down to other items like groceries since all that went up when gas went up

AIDS Awareness March held at Paine College

Last Updated: 10:48 PM 12/01/08 - According to the Centers for Disease Control, there are currently over 25-hundred cases of H-I-V reported in the Augusta area, the third highest number of reported cases of AIDS in Georgia.
On Monday an "AIDS Awareness March" was held at Paine College was held. There's a lot that advocates are doing in the "fight" against the deadly disease.Getting educated and getting tested are key to beating the disease and Monday night's group is hopeful that doing both will bring down the H-I-V rate in Augusta.
