A North Augusta man who murdered two young boys is set for execution four weeks from tonight.
William "Junior" Downs admitted killing six-year-old Keenan O'Mailia near the North Augusta Greeneway in 1999.
The South Carolina state Supreme Court recently ruled Downs can waive his appeals, and June 16 his execution date was set for July 14 in Columbia.
Downs also admitted killing ten-year-old James Porter in Augusta in 1991.
