MARTINEZ --- John Bryant has a new garbage collection service now. He was using Aces Garbage out of Evans, but he says there were too many problems to continue with that company.

"There would be times they wouldn't pick up at all. No one would call back." he said.

On top of that, John says they quit picking up yard waste. That was fine, what wasn't is that the company quit way before the date service was supposed to stop.

"They stopped that with no warning. And we had lots of yard waste." he said.

So John decided to cut ties and move on with another company. But he was still owed a refund. Money that seemed like it was taking quite a while to arrive.

This is not the first complaint 12 On Your Side has received on this company. A total of 5 have come in via email over the past year. Each time the company has responded and rectified the situation.

We called for John and another emailer, the person on the phone said she couldn't speak to the specific situations, but refund checks were going out that day to both customers.

Something John is very grateful for.

"We have an 8 month old baby and that $66 will buy a lot of pampers."

With that $117 we helped get back, that makes a total of $422,987.97 12 On Your Side has helped recover for our viewers.

I'm surprise to hear about Aces in the above story. I have been with Aces for I guess maybe 3 years and haven't had any problems. Yes they did start charging to pick up yard waste but not before they warned me and gave me ample time to let them know whether I wanted to continue my yard service or not.
