AIKEN CTY, S.C. --- There's a lot of cans missing their tabs tonight. In fact, there are several garbage bins and a whole trailer full of them.
2 schools in Aiken County collected one million tabs each. The tabs were given to the Ronald McDonald House to be recycled for cash. The amazing thing -- they did the collecting in just two years.
Today, the Ronald McDonald House presented Jefferson Elementary and East Aiken with a plaque to show off at the schools.
Four schools in the county took part of the tab drive program.
