The chemical is called melamine. It was one of the dangerous ingredients in the big pet food recall in the spring of 2007. It's an industrial chemical that helps cheat quality tests.

Now the FDA says it's popping up in some products made for humans and if you eat it, it could kill you.

First up is White Rabbit Candy. It's sold in 8 or 16 ounce packages and in a number of different flavors.
The packaging has a white rabbit on the front.

It's being recalled because it was found to be contaminated with melamine. If you have some at home, take it back to where you bought it for a full refund. You can call 650 697 6633 for more information.

The next product is Mr. Brown 3-in-1 and 2-in-1 Powdered Packets in Bag Coffee Mixes. The ones affected are the 3-in-1 flavors called mandheling or arabica and also the 2-in-1 flavor called mandheling.

We are told the Canned Mr. Brown coffee Products are not affected. They too are being recalled because they have melamine in them. Take these back to the store where you bought them for a refund.

The last sentence says canned coffees are not affected and then says they are recalled also due to contamination. Which is it?
