An anonymous tip brought down a teenager wanted for murder and armed robbery Sunday, June 11.
15-year-old Antoine Thaxton was captured Friday afternoon at his grandmother's house in Milton, North Carolina, about 300 miles from Augusta.
Investigators say he gunned down 33-year-old Jason Harrington and then robbed him back in May on the 2200 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Harrington died Friday at MCG.
Even though Thaxton is only 15, he will face an adult armed robbery charge and a murder charge.
His arrest came after an anonymous caller said his mother put him on a bus heading toward North Carolina or Virginia. Lt. Scott Peebles with the sheriff's office says charges could be brought against the mother.
