There is a new member of the Richmond County Board of Elections.
Adna Stein resigned effective May 30.
News 12 has learned L. C. Myles will finish Stein's unexpired term, which ends March 31, 2009.
After the term is up, the Democratic Party will have an election for another board member.
Mr. Stein, a former school board president, was appointed to the position in April of 2005.
Two members are appointed by the local Democratic Party and two by the local Republican Party.
The chairman is appointed by the Augusta Commission.
