COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. -- The four suspects who were arrested after an explosive device was found at a Columbia County hotel made their first appearance in court Tuesday.
Michael Stader, Anthony Jones and Amy Dodd were denied bond.
Richard Bourne, who is charged with terroristic threats and acts, was released on a $5,100 bond.
It all happened on South Belair Road at the Georgia Inn on Oct. 17. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office says a witness told them Dodd showed her the device and told her not to worry, that it was not for the hotel and for a person who killed someone in Hephzibah instead.
Authorities also found materials to make the device in the room, including a .38-caliber bullet, potassium nitrate and matches.
