AUGUSTA, Ga.---The historic Southern Mill will soon be demolished after a devastating fire gutted it Friday (September 26).

The 150=year-old mill was on Historic Augusta's list of 10 most endangered historic buildings. It operated as a flour mill along the Augusta Canal, then as a feed mill before it closed in 2002.

Investigators still don't know what caused the fire.
