It's a gift that could save your pet's life.
Friday, June 2, Aiken Public Safety showed off their new oxygen masks for animals.
42 masks were donated to the department, and those will be spread across Aiken County law enforcement.
Public Safety's Dalmatian mascot Sam and K-9 dog Tessa showed off the new masks.
Veterinarian Holly Woltz says they'll save lives.
The masks were donated in memory of a Pomeranian named Smoky. His owners started helping pets after 9/11, and figured it was time to help local ones as well.
